There has been significant work done in Welborne’s Memorial Garden this summer, especially during June and July, and phase one of the garden’s expansion is now complete.  (Read about the garden plans here.) Soil has been tilled and augmented, plantings have been installed.  This week, campers from the summer program at the Tuckahoe YMCA joined us in a wonderful community partnership and did edging and mulching.  Rain barrels have been installed so that plants can be watered using the natural resources of the earth.  Volunteers are needed for ongoing care, and for watering he newly installed plants, especially the rest of this summer. Complete the form below to volunteer.
