Welborne Christian Preschool is a half-day early education center focused on growing your child’s love of learning in a caring and compassionate environment, grounded in Christian values.
Our Mission
Welborne Christian Preschool provides a play-based environment where each child can:
- Develop an awareness of God’s love and God’s world.
- Develop a sense of self-esteem and trust.
- Learn to express feelings in healthy ways.
- Develop a better understanding of their environment, family and community.
- Develop the ability to interact appropriately and effectively with peers.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and classmates.
- Become more independent and learn responsibility.
- Acquire an ability to think, reason and solve problems.
- Develop both fine and gross motor skills.
- Feel empowered to meet the challenges of everyday life.
Classes
We offer half-day classes for children ages 2 through 5 years, 9am to noon. Each class has a lead teacher and assistant teacher. Class placement is generally dictated by your child’s age as of September 30th.
2-Day Two-Year-Old Classes
Offered Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Class sizes are limited to 8 children per class. Potty training is encouraged but is NOT required for this class.
2-Day Three-Year-Old Class
Offered Tuesday/Thursday. Class size is limited to 12 children. Potty training is required for this class.
3-Day Three-Year-Old Class
Offered Tuesday through Thursday. Class size is limited to 12 children. Potty training is required for this class.
3-Day Four-Year-Old Class
Offered Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Class size is limited to 12 children.
4-Day Four-Year-Old Class
Offered Monday through Thursday. Class size is limited to 14 children.
4-Day 5-Year-Old Class
Offered Monday through Thursday. Class size is limited to 14 children.
Fantastic Friday Mixed-Age Class
Offered Fridays and available to three, four and five-year-olds, Fantastic Friday is a bonus class for your child each week, full of more opportunities for social and academic growth via art, STEM, storytime and gross-motor playtime. Class size is limited to 12 children. Potty training is required for this class.

We offer a great combination of activities to spark your child’s imagination and love of learning both in and outside of class. Check out our in-class and bonus activities designed to meet the needs of your child and family.
In-Class Activities
- Daily rotating play-based learning stations designed to challenge your child’s motor, social and intellectual skills
- Circle, story and prayer time

Extra Activities
- “Early Bird” early drop-off, available daily at 8am
- “Lunch Bunch” extended day, available most Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon – 1:30pm
