When can I get food
- The Welborne Community Pantry provides those in need with pre-packed bags in a drive up service held on Monday’s from 5pm-6:30pm. Clients are welcome to come twice a month.
- There is also a Food Box available 24 hours 7 days a week available in our large parking lot at the foot of the handicapped entrance.
If You Need Food
If you are in need of food, we are glad to help you as often as twice a month.
We also assist referrals from agencies with whom we work (i.e. Crossover Clinic, Henrico County)..
Current Needs (updated 11/11):
PLEASE, NO GLASS
- Cereal (adult and kid)
- Mac and cheese
- Tomato Soup
- Snacks: lance type cracker packs, breakfast bars, granola bars, individual packs of nuts or trail mix
- Fruit cups and applesauce cups
- Saltines
- Canned green vegetables
- Canned pasta like Chef Boyardee or Spaghettios
- Ramen
TALL PAPER GROCERY BAGS ARE NEEDED AT THIS TIME! (Trader Joe’s, Food Lion, Lidl)
Please check expiration dates if you are sharing from your home.

Donations to the food pantry can be made anytime at our dropbox outside for a few items, or on Mondays, Wednesdays or Sundays from 9:30-11:30 am Money may also be donated and we will use it to buy healthy food. Click the button below to donate:

Welborne Community Pantry is a program in partnership with FEEDMORE. Local community partners for our Food Pantry include Panera, The Market at 25th, Linking Lives, The Period Patch, Tuckahoe YMCA, All Saints, St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Good Shepherd UMC, Discovery UMC, Epiphany Lutheran, Gayton Kirk Presbyterian, Crossover Clinic, Henrico Country Department of Social Services, Henrico County Schools, All Saints RVA, River Road UMC, Christ Church Episcopal, Trinity UMC, Westhampton UMC, Gayton Baptist Church, Derbyshire Baptist Church, St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Unitarian Universalist Community Church in Glen Allen, St. Andrews UMC, Douglas Freeman High School and many more scouts, clubs and community organizations.
