CLASSES 
Two Day, 2 year-old Class meets Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday – 8 children: must be 2 by September 30 (Children do not need to be potty trained.)
Two Day, 3 year-old Class meets on Tuesday and Thursday – 12 children
Three Day, 3 year-old Class meets Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday – 12 children
Three Day, 4 year old Class meets Monday/Wednesday/Friday- 12 children
Pre-K Four-day, 4-5 year old Class meets Monday through Thursday- 14 children
JK Four-day, 4-5 year-old Class meets Monday through Thursday – 14 children
Fantastic Friday meets Fridays, offered to our 3s and 4s classes – 12 children
Our preschool classes are designed to develop the skills expected of a child by the time they enter kindergarten.
We use September 30th as a birthday guideline, but consider each case individually. Each child must be toilet-trained, unless noted otherwise. Each classroom has a head teacher and an assistant.
CLASS ACTIVITIES
Arts and Crafts – We provide Opportunities to create and develop fine motor skills.
Chapel – Once a week the children will join a Welborne staff member in the sanctuary. During the time the children will hear Bible stories and a message about how that story relates to their everyday life.
Field Trips – We take the children to places of community interest.
Pop, Hop and Rock – This is a creative moment class that is offered to the children throughout the year. In this class, we encourage growth and development of a child’s gross motor skills.
Library Time – All students will check out books weekly from the church library. Reading to your child at this early age is very important.
Music – Music education is taught by our music director as a weekly program for the 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, Pre-K and JK children. This is a time for fun and appreciation of music through instruments and movement.
Playground – We provide supervised outdoor fun each day.
Story/Circle Time – We introduce students to quality children’s literature and Biblical selections.
Snacks – Each child provides his/her own snack. We are a peanut-free school.
